Antique English Porcelain

About Us

Keighley Antiques: Based in Keighley, West Yorkshire, we are always looking to buy antiques, we cover Haworth, Bingley, Skipton, Sutton, Cross Hills, Silsden, & further afield, and we are interested in all kinds of antiques.

We have been collecting for over 10 years now, & in our earlier days appeared as contestants on BBC's Bargain Hunt with "What a Bobby Dazzler" David Dickinson (& yes, we even managed to make a profit!).

We have also taken part in filming the pilot for a new BBC antiques program called "Treasure," which may be on later in the year if the series is commissioned.

More recently our Wigornia cream boat (right) made the national & international press after we discovered it hidden away on eBay, & we managed to secure it for £200. It subsequently sold at Bonhams in London for £46,800.

We're sure that you'll agree that it's a rather spectacular little thing, & as collectors selling it was quite sad, but the thought of having a £50,000 jug in the house with 2 marauding children tearing through the place is enough to make your blood run cold!

Our main reason for starting this site is to be able to share our passion with other collectors, and hopefully to create more of a community than just a website.

We will be offering top quality pieces for sale on the site, but we don't want this to become just another antiques shop website, which is why we have added a reference library, articles, & a newsletter so that the site is of use to everyone whether you are looking to buy something or are just interested in learning more.

We really want this site to be for collectors, & we hope that you will help the site to evolve over time by sharing your passion, knowledge, experiences, stories, news, or anything else that you'd care to share!

In the near future we plan to add a forum to the site so that people can discuss topics directly with each other, but in the meantime please feel free to browse the site using the buttons & enjoy!

If you are based in or around Keighley and are interested in antiques, or have antiques that you want to sell then why not send us an email!
